At Ruby Electronics, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collected to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. We may use the information we collect occasionally to notify you about important functionality change to the website, new services, and special offers we think you'll find valuable.
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, telephone number, and confirmed shipping address that matches the address you registered with the credit card issuer. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.
We offer you consistently low prices at our site. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We do not have a price-match policy at this time.
Despite our best efforts, some items at our site could be priced incorrectly. Please note that we verify prices as part of our shipping procedures.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Ruby Electronics reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Cancel Order by Customer
Your order cancellation is completed only after you received the cancellation confirmation e-mail from us. In case the cancellation is unsuccessful (i.e. we shipped out your order before your cancellation notice arrives our shipping department), you would have two choices: 1. Accept the order and shipment; OR 2. Refuse the shipment (i.e., do not accept delivery from FedEx or any other shipping entity we use).
By refusing the shipment, you authorize us to charge you an additional ten dollars ($10.00) per box (to defray the charge our shipping carrier will charge us for a refused shipment).
In any of the cases above, shipping and handling charges will NOT be refunded. Requesting the cancellation after the order is processed, you authorize us to charge additional eight dollars ($8) per order to cover our order processing expense and cost.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
We accept major cards through PayPal only. All credit card payments must be accepted by PayPal through confirmed address verification. This payment option is not available to customers outside of USA. WE SHIP TO CONFIRMED ADDRESS ONLY.
Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, Wire Transfer, Company Checks & Personal Checks
Ruby Electronics accepts Western Union payment, Payingfast.com, money orders, cashier's checks and wire transfer in US Dollars only. Orders are processed when funds are actually cleared and deposited into our bank account. Ruby Electronics cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We do not accept company checks or personal checks.
After you provided your shipping address during the online ordering process, the applicable charges for shipping and handling will be displayed. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. All shipments are subject to stock availability. The time it will take for you to receive your order depends on the product availability, the shipping method and the distance between your confirmed address and our warehouse in Northern California. If the product is available you would usually receive the shipment within three to five business days.
Tracking or insurance information is available upon your request. Our standard shipment will be through USPS or FedEx Ground at the choice of Ruby Electronics. Other shipment methods or express delivery can be requested by our customers at extra cost. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories outside the Continental U.S. are subject to additional shipping and handling charges - which will be quoted and emailed to our customers after we receive the orders.
For International Customers: We will require an international order to be paid by wire transfer. International orders will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service Priority or Express Mail or FedEx unless you request otherwise, and the S&H fee will differ from the standard (please send shipping inquiries to: service@Ruby-Electronics.com). Tracking information may not be available. International S&H fees will be quoted and e-mailed to our customers separately after we receive your order.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Ruby Electronics are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. You can purchase optional insurance through Ruby Electronics via explicit written request with full payment before the shipment.
Ruby Electronics offers a limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship for products we sell. This limited warranty extends for one year from the date of invoice - unless stated otherwise on our website. During the warranty period, Ruby Electronics will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any product that proves to be defective. This limited warranty does not apply to any products that are improperly handled, abused, neglected, repaired or installed by unauthorized technician. Any repair or installation not authorized by Ruby Electronics in writing shall act as an implied waiver of this limited warranty and relieve Ruby Electronics of any further obligation to the customer. Manufacturers may provide their own, separate warranties in additional to that is provided by Ruby Electronics.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, RUBY ELECTRONICS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS SOLD ON THIS SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU AGREE THAT THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO RUBY ELECTRONICS ARISING FROM ANY PRODUCT SOLD ON THE RUBY ELECTRONICS SITE SHALL BE THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT ORDERED. IN NO EVENT SHALL RUBY ELECTRONICS, ITS OWNER, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RELATED TO PRODUCT SOLD. INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR LOSSES IN PROFITS, LOSSES IN REVENUE, LOSSES IN SAVINGS, LOSSES OF DATA, DOWNTIME, COSTS OF CAPITAL, COST OF REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT (TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT), COSTS OF TIME, THIRD PARTIES' CLAIMS OR INJURY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY.
To return any merchandise to Ruby Electronics (regardless of the reason for the return), you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, simply email to service@Ruby-Electronics.com with the following information:

We will email you the approved RMA # after reviewing your request. Please send back the RMA Product(s) along with the RMA# on the package with a copy of the relevant invoices. All returns are subject to prior approval. Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse or return any products we receive without an RMA number. Products received without an RMA number may cause a delay in processing the RMA.
General Terms and Conditions
All returns must be sent freight prepaid within fifteen (15) days of the RMA number issuing date. The customer is responsible for paying the shipping cost and insurance when returning products to Ruby Electronics. We recommend returned items be shipped via couriers that issues a tracking number and insure the package against loss or damage. Collect shipments will not be accepted. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable. Any refund request by the customer is subject to a 10 - 30% re-stocking fee. All items must be in their original packaging and in a re-sellable condition when received. Please be sure to include all of the original material that the manufacturer included with the merchandise (manuals, warranty cards, cables, etc.). Any discrepancies could result in a delay or partial forfeiture of your refund. Defective software products may only be replaced with the same title. When a product is returned for Warranty Service, Ruby Electronics, at its option, will repair or replace the product and ship the repaired or replaced products to the customer at our expense. If the product cannot be repaired, Ruby Electronics, at its option, will refund or replace with an equivalent or better model to you. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
Any items sent back for RMA services will be tested. If an item is tested and is determined to be either (1) not defective or (2) physically damaged by the customer, the customer will be charged at the current rate of $65/hour ($30 minimum charge). If the physical damaged item is out of warranty service and may be repaired, the customer can choose to repair the item at the rate of $65/hour with a minimum of $30.
Ruby Electronics shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for products listed with typographical errors, e.g. incorrect prices -- whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your check has already been withdrawn for the purchase and your order is canceled, Ruby Electronics shall issue a credit to your account the same amount charged.
